Including the factory charger, this is the third time I have had to replace the charger since purchasing the Nokia e71x in Feb. 2010. I have never had to replace a charger for any other phone I have ever owned, and therefore I believe that Nokia has made a poor quality product to begin with. This charger works great (as did the other two in the beginning) and comes at a reasonable price. Good thing since I am extremely apprehensive as to whether or not it will last more than a few months. Just hope it will last until I am able to upgrade to a phone that does not have a small headphone/charger jack. - Works properly with e71

Don't buy this adapter!! The picture shown is not what you will receive, the picture shows a genuine Nokia adapter but what you get is a cheap piece of crap that doesn't even have the same specifications as the Nokia adapter. Bought two of these so I can have them in various places (work, school, home) to charge my Nokia E71x phone. Worked as advertised. One of them did not worked when arrived (the plug didn't go all the way in to the phone). Contacted vendor and they promptly sent another one out. These are just chargers so there is not much to write about.

This charger is for the old models. The pin is big - the older models of nokia used to have it. The new ones have a slim pin and this does not work with my model. As soon as I figured that, I put it in trash. - Does the job
Great as a second (or third, if lost) charger. Works on 230 volts in Europe and South America. At one point, when pulled from a tight plug, the connection inside broke. I was able to solder it back and epoxy the case shut. It worked fine, but eventually, the phone-side connector somehow deteriorated and on occasion (while traveling) the phone did not charge over night. All in all, for the price, I got fair bit of service out of this unit. It became obsolete when I retired my Nokia. - Disappointment :0(
This is not for every Nokia phone! It certainly did not fit mine, though my model no. was one of the ones listed. Be cautious if you order this item because it does not fit the Nokia 6102 flip phone. - Cheap, Functional

This charger works great with my Virgin Mobile Aloha phone. I can't tell the difference between this charger and the one that came with the phone. Plus, it's a fraction of the price that Virgin Mobile charges.
- Flimsy, short cord, wouldn't stay connected
I agree with the other negative review above. The photo is of the standard LG charger, but the one you get is a flimsy knock-off that didn't work well. The cord was really short and the damn thing didn't stay connected. It didn't really "snap-in" well and kept popping out. I ended up just buying a real replacement cord from a store -- more expensive, but it worked perfectly. - beware: misleading ad
From the product description, you would never guess that this is not made by LG. When they call it an "LG Travel Charger," when Amazon describes it as a "lightweight, genuine LG charger," and when the photo they show is of the OEM LG charger, it's hard to conclude otherwise.
But no. The only name on the box is Wireless Phone Accessories, made in China. The charger you get is not the one pictured in the ad. It looks different, and it is obviously lighter and cheaper feeling. I just plugged mine in, and it seemed to work just fine.
Is this product worth 50 cents plus $5 shipping? That's for you to decide. But one doesn't expect to get the bait & switch from Amazon, and I'll be returning it. - A fine replacement
Somehow I broke my original charger. This one filled the bill at a very reasonable cost.

- Blew fuses!
I had to pay rather a lot of money to have this shipped to Amsterdam (after UPS decided it didn't want to ship it to me in Canada for much less) and the first time I used it, it blew the fuse in the hotel room. Now I have to pay even more money to send it back! - Poorly Made

I just ordered this as I needed urgently for my spouse who lost her charger on recent vacation. The charger looks brand new, but doesn't work ! plugged in and no output at all. I would have hoped somebody would have atleast just plugged in to do a simple test to see if the power light is blinking or not before mailing it. What a waste !!! Now waiting on replacement and hope this time they get it right !

The chargers were just as stated and they are just like those from our cell phone store (ONLY CHEAPER)> however, I did think the shipping charges were a bit expensive. - Awesome value
I also noticed that this charges my E815 a little bit more slowly than the OEM charger, but I think 6 hours is an exaggeration. At $8, it's clearly a better value than whatever you'd pay at a Verizon store.

- This Item Does Not Work - Do Not Buy!!!
The one review that said "you get what you pay" for is wrong - there are indeed vendors selling the exact compact same Motorola charger here on Amazon and they sell it for under $1.00 (+shipping) but DO NOT BUY THIS CHARGER FROM THE OEM SHOP! I believe all the chargers under this auction/sale are defective and they do not work. I should know, I ordered 4 and all 4 of them did not work at all (what are the chances of that?) After the OEM order arrived and I saw that none of the charges worked, I did tests using the several working chargers I already owned and the three working RAZR phones I also owned. I tested all 4 of the defective chargers and my tests were conclusive: these OEM charges do not work. OEM customer service was obtuse and reluctant to even understand my problem. They sent me more product that was also defective and refused to send me a return authorization number. I had to get the NY State attorney general involved to get any satisfaction/refund from the OEM shop. I have the emails to prove it too. The OEM shop is a boiler shop operation operating out of the 4th floor of some dump in Brooklyn, NY. As soon as they get enough negative comments, they'll simply change their Amazon merchant ID and reopen under another name, and resume shipping garabage to unwitting customers. Buyer beware. I would not purchase this item from the OEM Shop, but you might have good luck from other merchants at the same price point. I bought about 3 or 4 of these same items on Amazon for 99 cents about 2 years ago and had since accidently left them behind in hotels etc. while traveling thereby necessitating a reorder of these great little chargers which is how I wound up doing business with the OEM shop. We purchased this charger and disregarded other customers warnings about the faulty quality. The charger had a wire exposed when it arrived which we taped, and then the tip fell off. I purchased this item on March 13th 2006, and used it about 3 times while I was travelling (I did not use my phone very much at all). When I got home (I was away for 2 months) I tried to use it again, but one of the blades was missing, and a red wire poking through instead. I can only think it pulled out and was left in the hotel recepticle!
Amazon would not replace this for me as it was over 30 days since my order. (This effectively means everything they sell only has a guarantee for 30 days! Makes you wonder!) - Worthless piece of garbage
This thing is awful - after 1 week of light use, the plastic prong broke off, and it doesn't work. Tells me that it's time to get a new phone, one which has READILY AVAILABLE chargers should I lose mine. - Cheaply constructed
Literally within one minute of opening the package in which charger arrived at my door, one of the plastic clips that secures the charger to the phone whilst in use had broken. I plugged the charger in and connected it to my phone in order to see if it did indeed work. Seeing the indication on my phone's display that it was charging, I removed the plug only to see a disconcerting piece of black plastic break off the end of the plug end of the charger. It still functions, but with only one clip connecting phone and charger, I have to be careful to place the phone in such a way that the plug won't spontaneously pop out.
